Agent fees and kit
Agent fees, a mic, a booth at home and your software. What can you claim?
January sneaks up
Then it's a rush to find every booking and payment from the year.
Behind the mic, there's a business to run.
Some presenters work in front of the camera on TV or online. Voiceover artists might record adverts, audiobooks, games or training courses, often from a studio at home. Plenty of you do both, with an agent handling some bookings and others coming straight to you.
Understanding how your work comes in, and what you'd like more of, lets us give advice that fits the way you work. That might mean investing in your home studio or planning ahead for busier spells.
