Subscriptions and tips, paid out at different times.
What about my kit?
Cameras, lights, your phone and editing apps. Which of them can you claim?
Tax comes last
You're busy making the next post, and then the January deadline is close.
Your page is your business.
Some creators post every day and earn mostly from subscriptions. Others post less often and earn more from tips. Plenty run more than one platform at once.
Whatever your mix looks like, we want to know how you earn and where you'd like to go next. Once we understand that, the advice we give is shaped around your page.

One useful answer
Do I pay tax on my subscriptions and tips?
Yes. Subscriptions and tips count as income, the same as a payment from a client. You only pay tax on what's left after your work costs. We'll make sure we count them all.

Quick questions
Do I need to register as self-employed?
If you earn from your page outside of a job, you may need to. We'll check and sort it for you.
Can I claim my camera and editing apps?
If you use them for your content, you can usually claim them. If you also use them for personal things, you claim the work part. We'll keep a record for you.
Should I be a sole trader or a limited company?
It depends on how much you earn and your plans. Our free report compares the two for you.
